My Top 5 Phonemic Awareness Activities

Psssssssst. Have you heard the buzz? You know, the phonemic awareness buzz? As it turns out, when we teach blending and segmenting, alongside known letter sounds, we are setting our students up with a strong foundation for reading and writing. Today I am going to share my favorite activities with you. I decided to share this post in a different format, because you just have to SEE these activities in action. Remember at any point (when your kiddos have a few sounds under their belts) you can add in letter sounds to create a powerful phonics AND phonemic awareness activity!
